IDEC is a platform dedicated to making ‘bench to bedside’ easy and efficient by leveraging research and scientific findings. We undertake a variety of activities that allow doctors and clinicians to translate their learnings into outstanding clinical care for their patients. We help fund diabetes research and propagate it so that the medical fraternity can work towards the prevention and cure of diabetes. We act as a reliable knowledge-sharing platform for doctors to learn from their global colleagues. But above all, we are a credible voice in society that is on a mission to fight diabetes and its deadly health consequences, through the power of collaboration. Because, we understand that taking on an ailment that’s ever-increasing in numbers across the globe, is the need of the hour.

The Academy for Diabetes and Endocrine Research and Education (ADHERE) is dedicated to the cause of research in medicine, particularly diabetes research. The brainchild of Dr Sanjay Agarwal, ADHERE encourages medical practitioners from all walks of society, to bring their research and advanced studies to the forefront for the benefit of both academia and humankind. ADHERE has been hosting the IDEC since 2017 and has since then emphasised its mission to Provide state-of-the-art academic inputs to delegates, Ignite the passion for research in medicine, and help clinicians further their career goals by adding value to their existing practice.

Our flagship event, IDEC Education, is a future-focused international consortium with an emphasis on research and scientific ideas.

A one-of-a-kind, virtual, and focused scientific session, IDEC Café takes place on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 9:00 pm.
